报告摘要

The advancement of control theory is often driven by the practical demands of modern engineering systems. With the rapid progress of science and technology, there is an increasing need to manage complex control systems operating in challenging and dynamic environments. Such systems are frequently modeled as interconnected structures, including networked systems and multi-agent systems. Their complexity typically arises from nonlinearities, time delays, uncertainties, and interactions among subsystems—characteristics commonly encountered in real-world applications.

This talk focuses on decentralized control of complex interconnected systems, with an emphasis on both theoretical foundations and practical applications. The presentation will begin with an overview of the development of decentralized control. It will then introduce our recent research on employing sliding mode control techniques within a decentralized framework to address the challenges posed by networked interconnected systems. Finally, the talk will explore future research directions and highlight ongoing challenges in this field, offering insights into the evolving landscape of decentralized control theory and its applications.
