Master Program for Specialty in Control Theory and Control Engineering

The subject obtained the authorization of master’s degree in this specialty in 2000 and it began to recruit students in 2001.With complete teaching and research facilities, people in the subject cover different ages, including 3 directors of doctor students and 4 professors now. The characteristic and advantage of the discipline are formed in the aspects of ship control engineering, fault diagnosis and fault-tolerant control, logistics system optimization, ship simulation system development, etc. Main research directions contain modeling and control of complex systems, intelligent optimization theory, fault diagnosis, fault-tolerant control, ship power system modeling, analysis and control, system simulation technology, intelligent information processing and so on. The subject possesses control theory, process control, marine automation, ship automation of multi-mode power station laboratories.

In the recent five years, the subject has assumed several scientific research items from Science &Technology Ministry of China, Department of Communication, Shanghai City and related enterprises. It has won two provincial level scientific and technological progress awards and one teaching achievement award, besides it has published more than 100 articles in domestic and foreign core journals and major academic conferences. Dozens of the articles were collected by SCI, EI, ISTP. It has the ability to train high-quality and high-level talents independently.
