The Teachers and Students of Our School Winning Awards of Society for Mechanics
On the afternoon of December 25, 2013, the 2013 member day activity of the Shanghai Society for Mechanics was held in the Shanghai building research station. At the assembly, the advanced groups and individuals in 2013 were awarded.
Wu Jiangwei, the Association Professor of Logistics Engineering College in our school, won the Award of 2013 National Xu Zhilun Mechanics Excellent Teachers. It was the second time that our school’s basic Mechanics teachers had won the award since 2007. This award is presented once every two years, aiming to commend the teachers who have made outstanding achievements in Mechanics education. This time, altogether 6 Mechanics teachers won the award among all the universities and colleges in Shanghai.
Zhang Qi , the teacher of Logistics Engineering College in our school, won the Excellence Award of Outstanding Young Scholar Award of 2013 Shanghai Society for Mechanics.Since he graduated from a doctor’s degree and taught in our school, Zhang qi has been working very hard at the forefront of teaching, has finished large amounts of teaching tasks, and has acted as the instructor many times for National College Students’ Mechanics Contest.
Liu Chang, the student from machinery class 115 of Logistics Engineering in our school, won the Award of Outstanding Student of 2013 Shanghai Society for Mechanics. Liu Chang studied very hard and carefully, who had ever participated in the 9th Zhou Peiyuan National College Students’ Mechanics Contest and won the second prize of Shanghai competition ares. Only 5 students won the Award of Outstanding Student of 2013 Shanghai Society for Mechanics among all the colleges and universities in Shanghai. The other 4students respectively come from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Tongji University and Shanghai University.
